What we collect
- When you order. Your name, shipping address, email address and what you bought. Payment card details go straight to Stripe and never reach this site.
- When you message us. Your name, email and whatever you write, so we can reply.
- When you offer us bulk. Your name, email, rough location and the counts you enter, so we can quote you.
- In your browser only. Your card pile and your flash sale cart are stored in your own browser using local storage. They never leave your device and we cannot see them.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on this site. There is no newsletter signup harvesting addresses in the background.
Who processes it
- Stripe - payment processing for orders bought on this site.
- Supabase - the database holding orders, messages and the catalog.
- Netlify - hosting, which keeps standard server access logs.
- Resend - sends the notification emails for messages and orders.
- eBay - orders placed through our eBay store are governed by eBay's own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years, because tax rules require it. Contact messages and bulk offers are kept for two years. Anything else goes when it stops being useful.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted where we are not legally required to keep it. Email hello@collectiblemporium.ca or use the contact form and we will action it within 30 days.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies of its own. Stripe sets cookies on its own checkout pages to process your payment and prevent fraud.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
